- To prepare thandai coconut mixture:
- 2 Tbsp Ghee
- 1 cup grated dry coconut
- 1/2 cup thandai masala
- 3/4 cup condensed milk
- To prepare beetroot mixture:
- 2 Tbsp Ghee
- 1 cup grated beetroot
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated khoya
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tsp cardamom powder
- To prepare thandai beetroot delight:
- Mould
- Ghee for Grease
Instructions to make to make Thandai beetroot delight
- To prepare thandai coconut mixture:
Heat 2 Tbsp of ghee in a heavy bottom pan on medium heat, then add the grated dry coconut and thandai powder to it.


- Saute the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant.
- Add condensed milk and mix it well on low flame. Stir until the condensed milk mixes well with the coconut and thandai powder too.

- Mixture will leave side of the pan. Remove pan from heat and let it cool down a bit. Keep it aside.
- To prepare beetroot mixture:
Wash beetroot with clean water and peel it.

- Heat 2 Tbsp of ghee in a heavy bottom pan. Add grated beetroot and saute till the raw smell goes off.

- Now add milk and stir continuously on a medium flame.

- Now add Khoya. It will take 15 to 20 minutes to reach the Halwa consistency. Then add Cardamom Powder, Sugar and stir it continuosly for 5 minutes.

- Mixture will leave side of the pan. Remove pan from heat and let it cool down a bit. Keep it aside.
- First add beatroot mixture and then thandai mixture in a greased mould. Now press then lightly with help of palm. Now unmould it.



- So that beatroot thandai delight is ready to serve.
